PhiLab is proud to present the 7th volume of The PhiLanthropic Year, titled “Crisis as a Catalyst: Transforming Philanthropic Practices in Canada Today”. Against a backdrop of social, economic, environmental, and democratic crises that are redefining the relationships between public, community, and philanthropic actors, this new edition brings together critical reflections and analyses on the transformations currently underway in the sector.
Through a variety of perspectives drawn from research and practice, this volume explores how contemporary crises serve both to reveal the limitations of current models and to act as catalysts for the renewal of philanthropic practices.
