Sofiane Baba is Associate Professor of Strategic Management at  Université de Sherbrooke. His current research focuses on strategic processes, legitimization and change, whether organizational, social or institutional. Sofiane Baba’s work focuses on phenomena at the interface of organizations, society and institutions, with an interest in sustainable development and social issues. His empirical research is mainly qualitative and focuses on various contexts, namely SMEs, large complex organizations and philanthropic organizations, both in Canada and North Africa.
Sofiane’s research has been published in Academy of Management Journal, M@n@gement, Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Management Inquiry, International Journal of Project Management and Management International.
He holds a PhD in strategy and organization theory from HEC Montréal. Previously, Sofiane completed a master’s degree in strategy at HEC Montréal and a bachelor’s degree in international business at the University of Ottawa.
