I am originally from Newfoundland and Labrador. I am currently working on my MSc in the Rural Planning and Development program at the University of Guelph. My research with the Atlantic Hub of PhiLab focuses on mapping the current landscape of philanthropy in rural communities across Newfoundland and Labrador, and Atlantic Canada. This research seeks to understand the challenges of, and potential for rural environmental charitable organizations to contribute to community and environmental resiliency. I previously completed my B.A. in Environmental Governance with an additional focus on International Development and Public Policy.
