I am currently a Ph.D. student at Université de Rennes 2 in France. My thesis is on philanthropy as it relates to development in the African context, more specifically on the Ivory Coast. I have a double Master’s degree in Sociology with different specialties. One is Sociologie de l’Economie et de l’Emploi from l’Université Félix Houphouet Boigny de Cote d’Ivoire. The second is Pratique Réflexive de l’Intervention Sociale from the Université de Perpignan. My research interests are related to questions of philanthropy, development, globalization, on work and employment as well as social protection.
