Janyck Beaulieu is a PhD candidate in international development at the University of Ottawa under the supervision of Maïka Sondarjee. Her thesis focuses on the participation of women beneficiaries and community stakeholders in health and sexual and reproductive rights projects funded by Canada in Benin. More broadly, she is interested in issues of gender and intersecting discrimination in the context of research, development projects and humanitarian responses, particularly in relation to health.
