Description
There has been a trend towards greater reliance on hospital foundations due to factors such as funding constraints, demographics, current pandemic with COVID-19 putting increase pressure on hospitals. The objective of this research is to further our understanding of the relationships between hospitals and hospital foundations. The relationship between hospitals and hospitals reflects a collaborative nature (Pilon, 2019).
The research question is: “How is the financial relationship between hospitals and hospital foundation(s) depicted in documentary evidence on their websites and/or in the regulatory filings?”
