Biographie
Josh Newton is currently an Urban Planning and Public Policy Ph.D. student in the College of Architecture, Planning, and Public Affairs at University of Texas, Arlington. His research interests include place-based philanthropy, community development, community engagement, and gentrification. He is currently working on a project with Dr. Mirle Rabinowitz-Bussell (University of California, San Diego) and Dr. Maria Martinez-Cosio (University of Texas, Arlington) that considers the role of place-based philanthropic foundations in social and environmental impact in the United States and Canada. Josh is a research member of PhiLab’s international research unit based in the United States.
