Benoit Martel

Biographie

Within PhiLab, Benoit Martel adopts the role of administrative coordinator. He is thus charged with everything having to do with employee contracts, expenditure reports, budget management, interuniversity and partnership agreements, management of the computer system, etc. He is the main liaison agent with the different UQAM services, who welcomes PhiLab within their walls. Benoit has a Masters degree in medieval history from UQAM and has worked there since 2012 as a research professional within the psychology department (community section), notably assuming the role of coordinator of the Laboratoire Vitalité - Research lab on health, of the CJM-IU - UQAM chair, in the application of knowledge from the areas of youth and families in need, and of the Équipe Épione : Public health - community health. Linguistic reviewer and test corrector in his spare time, he was also a French tutor at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf (Cégep) specialized in the practice and enhancement of French grammatical rules for the production of texts.
