Konan Jean Claude Kouadio

Biography

I am currently a Ph.D. student at Université de Rennes 2 in France. My thesis is on philanthropy as it relates to development in the African context, more specifically on the Ivory Coast. I have a double Master’s degree in Sociology with different specialties. One is Sociologie de l’Economie et de l’Emploi from l’Université Félix Houphouet Boigny de Cote d’IvoireThe second is Pratique Réflexive de l’Intervention Sociale from the Université de Perpignan. My research interests are related to questions of philanthropy, development, globalization, on work and employment as well as social protection.

Publications

In the context of my research on philanthropy on the Ivory Coast, I published some of my work in 2020, including the following article: “Philanthropy and these issues in Ivory Coast,” Social transformations and sociology of development.

I wrote a second article that is still looking to be published, the title of which is: “Les fondations ivoiriennes à l’épreuve de la COVID 19: entre engagement, changement de pratiques et inactivité”. I am currently searching for a journal to publish it.
