Katie Schutz is the Coordinator for the Western Hub of the Canadian Philanthropy Partnership Research Network. She has significant experience working for non-profits and charities in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Ontario, as well as international experience in Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Australia. Katie is a highly motivated and energetic manager, fundraiser, and consultant. She is a member of the Canadian Evaluation Society, Psychosocial Rehabilitation Canada, and The Circle on Philanthropy and Aboriginal Peoples in Canada. Through her work, she has supported the advancement of organizations by providing support with evidence-based decision making, engaging stakeholders, identifying community needs, and providing strategic planning support and board training. Katie is a dedicated advocate for Indigenous rights in Canada and the importance of reconciliation. She is passionate about how civil society can improve the lives of everyone.
